It's being tested. 400A at 1000V. That's 400 kW. ChaDEMO is 50 kW. Teslas charge at 120 kW.

Wow...sounds like a liquid cooled cable.  Im picturing something born out of my old computer modding days with LED lighting to make a computer with overkill cooling look alienistic.
