Anybody seen these? (I'm very tempted)

I like the idea. While it SHOULD be safer than a half helmet, I am
not sure about the safety. The only rating I could find with a quick search
was DOT. Looks like they have had this since at least 2004. Cruising
around the web site link, I noticed a "new for 2014" quote. While most
of them seem to be in the $500 range, they did have a sale on their
site for under $300 if XL or XXL fits.

I've tried one on! They're a little on the heavy side but the concept definitely works.
The helmet I tried belonged to someone else and the head shape fit was not quite for me, a typical problem for helmet manufacturing - retail (or show) presence where you can try one on is super important for new manufacturers.

I have also had my eye on this helmet but not being able to try it on is a real drawback. I nearly bought one on sale from Revzilla about a year ago since they are very good about returns but the phone person actually told me not to buy it. I forget his reasons but he was very negative and talked me out of it. I don't think Reevu would have appreciated his sales technique. I would love to try one on but I don't think they are available in any walk-in stores.

They do have a "try one on at a location near you" section on their website. I'm going to try it when I finally decide I've gotten all I can out of my current helmet. In California, you only have to have one mirror, and there are no requirements on placement or even usability, so if I had the Reevu I could mount one mirror very inboard and have a much easier time splitting lanes.
Burton apparently rides with one: http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=3412.msg18878#msg18878 (http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=3412.msg18878#msg18878)
