Title: New to the forum and E Motorcycles

Hi Everyone,
I recently joined the forum and am in the process of deciding on which Zero to purchase.  I have been following them for years but finally in a position to where it makes sense to get one.  I am coming from a Yamaha FZ6 which was great but now am looking at an FXS or DSR.

Welcome. I'm in a very similar position, but still deciding between a FXS and SR. The only dealer near me with an FXS lost their trade plates (as in they fell off a bike) so I can't test ride one until they get a replacement.

I rode a DSR and FXS and loved both.  I wish i could have the FXS with DSR range.

Was it just the range difference? I can cope with that as long as the power difference (44 vs 66bhp) doesn't feel as much as it seems on paper.

The FXS was more fun to ride around town than the dsr.  Off the line it feels just as quick.  I would imagine 40-80 the DSR would shine over the FXS.
