Thanks for sharing the video. Looks like a very fun ride. Nothing really like that where I live in central Florida. You also pass those vehicles pretty effortlessly. Gotta love the instant acceleration on these bikes. Ride on my friend!

Sam, bike sounds better - did you manage to get to the bottom of the motor noise?  What a great winter weather we are having in Wellington...DSR arrives on the 17th..catch you soon.  Thanks for sharing the video.  Tim

And Tim - yea man this weather isn't too bad!  I've been trying to ride everyday  ;D We'll definitely have to meet up then!

The noise turned out to be worn/damaged motor bearings.  I had a chat with someone at Zero who gave me all the details on how to replace them, but he said not to worry about it getting any worse and to just keep riding.  As long as my belt tension is right, the bearing noise isn't that noticeable anyway.  And who knows, in a few years when there's a better motor/bike to upgrade to, there may be a Zero dealership in NZ for me to take the bike to.
