TÄ“nÄ koutou katoa,
Just a quick intro and appreciation for all that you owners do to promote electrifed transport over fossil fuels. I do love my 2-wheeled chariots from fixies, folders, Ti fighters, racers to v-twins & single thumper lightweight powerhouses, but I also see the future is electric. I took over a project bike, and am nearly finished with legal registration in NZ of my custom EV450. The bike was originally a 1997 GSXR 600, and motor was dropped for a 450w brushed motor and a 22 LiFePo 60A batteries. A bit of fiberglass magic and lots of wiring created my current project bike, the EV450 GSXR ebike.

Wow. Just... wow.
That's a beautiful bike you have there. What can you tell us about it? Do you have a build log we can read?
-
Well done!
but 450W?

Looks nice, I am also interested in the build log if you kept one.

Agreed about how beautiful your bike is, and curious to know more.

Thanks for the complements guys. I have quite a few pics of the build, but no real written log. All of those pics are not loaded online, so it's a job in itself to load them up and share here. The guy that did most of the build was a friend and he's got a fb page called Rogue NZ Limited with pics there.
It's a little underpowered, and I'd like to repower it with new batteries soon...just cost is limiting. Looking for a sponsorship soon, but as we're in New Zealand it will have to wait until spring.
