Title: Bad pun, great German electric bikers' club name, or both?

I had a silly thought earlier today that "Riders on the Strom" would be a great name for a German electric bikers' club.

Strom = electricity or power.

I know, I know. Terrible pun.

Hey - my grandpa was a "Strom" (more Swedish than German)

Today I thought of "Charging Cycles" as the name of my dream Zero dealership and/or racing team.

So I registered that domain - now I'm one step closer to my dreams.

Already a V-Strom phrase but it seems fine to me. :)

Alas, it looks like I'm not going to make Rolling Thunder this year. But I was about 20% towards organizing a group of electric motorcycles to ride RT together. I was going to call it "Rolling Whisper", but a dude at work suggested "Rolling Lightning".

We are, after all, riding the lightning... in a sense.

Let's aim for next year. I can't make it this year either but I went in 2013. It was a blast!  And it would be particularly amazing to have a group of electric riders.
