I want to purchase a 2011/12 Zero S as my budget is $4000 CAD , I am close to Toronto canada and don't mind driving out to the states to pick up the bike

Not too far out of your price range, maybe you can negotiate it down. Also, you probably saw Vkruger was selling his for 5100*, but maybe he never sold it.
