Can you use your special Brammofan powers to get some of the new Brammo owners onto this forum to talk about their experiences as new owners of the latest Brammo's? I've tried googling for information on them, but can't find anything...

Thanks Brammofan. Even though my money is already spoken for (paid for a GPR-S around 6 weeks ago), I find it fascinating to watch how this electric motorcycle industry evolves. Especially since the Zero S or DS won't be out until December, I think this first wave of Brammo motorcycles is going to be an important occurrence in Electric Motorcycle history...

guity, I don't think the Dec release of the Zero S is official. I have heard conflicting information on that date. The recent Motorcyclist mag article did not mention it either which surprised me. They talked of the Zero S like it was available now. Guess time will tell...

Skadamo, thanks for pointing out that the Dec date is not official -- since I never saw anyone deny that to be the date, I just assumed it must be correct. What date does your conflicting information offer?

I've been posting on this forum for a while, although mainly on the Zero Motorcycles side. I originally wanted an Enertia but I was concerned about the low top speed (listed as 50+ at the time). So when the Zero S was announced and I saw the 60 mph top speed I jumped on the Zero bandwagon. However, when the Zero S top speed was lowered and it was pushed back to December (I assume) and the top speed for the Enertia was announced at 60+ (with many reviewers hitting a top speed of 65 mph) I went back to Brammo. Plus, I really liked the looks of the Enertia and the fit and finish seemed to be higher quality overall.
I had reserved an Enertia very early on, and was one of the first people to direct order from Brammo.com. As a result, on Friday 9/18 I will be receiving the VERY FIRST Brammo Enertia shipment. I just talked to the Brammo service technician who will be flying out here from Portland on Friday to uncrate the Enertia and hand over the keys, and he verified that I am receiving the first shipment. I’m planning on videotaping the “uncrating†and taking a lot of pictures.
Once I receive my Enertia I plan on putting it through it paces and putting together a review of my own. Do you guys have anything you want me to test/take pictures of/try etc? Also, do you have any questions for me to ask the service tech when I meet him?

Wow this is great Radams! Congrats! Hopefully we can compare a few notes since I am pretty sure I will be getting my GPR-S this evening. My very first question about the Brammo will be what your specific top speed is on flat ground (hopefully under fairly windless conditions). I've heard everything from 55 to 75 mph. I relate fully to what you are saying about how Zero's specs seemed to get worse while Brammo's got better. Actually, a year ago, I was being told that the Zero S would have a top speed of 70. In spring I think it dropped down to 60, and now it is 55. I wouldn't be surprised if the actual S, if/when it ever comes out, goes faster than 55. I guess, though, a single measurement of top speed is too partial of a picture. I would also want to know, at top speed, or any speed, how fast are you losing charge, or how many miles can you go at that speed from a full charge?

I know Brammo said they under promised on the specs. Very interested to know how much so. Where will you get yours serviced? I assume you are not near the Best Buys in Oregon. I'll try to think of some good questions for the tech.
