Title: Vozz Rear Entry Helmet

What do you guys think of this new helmet? I guess the idea was first announced in 2005 but I've never seen them before.

I like the idea of being able to get it on and off with gloves on [emoji1]

Being able to take it off in emergency situations without moving the riders head is a bonus.

Seems like an interesting idea.
I also like the way it can be removed in an emergency, seems the rear half can also in those cases act as a support for the back of the head.

The idea is neat but if you need to scan a QR code and use tools to remove the helmet during an emergency it's not gonna work for me.

If this reduces wind noise by having a smaller opening, I am all for it.  The QR code should be replaced with a picture of how to remove the back, scanning a code for emergency instructions is just a horrible idea.  I wonder how your intercom would mount as not to interfere with the release and if the speakers have a suitable mounting location.

I sometimes use a helmet skirt that loves to try and rip my ears off if I don't have something on my head to help guide it over my ears.  Sealing the neck opening definitely reduces the noise.

I can tell you from experience that emergency personnel are not going to look around for a QR code, or take time to figure out latches. Your helmet is getting cut off using a saw, just like taking off a cast.

A quieter helmet and ditching the chin strap would be nice.  I hate when my gloves are on and I realize that I did not do the chin strap   

It would seems like it would be very easy for a conventional helmet design to be modified to be a similar shape with flexible material without all the complication.  There are some aftermarket stuff for this.  Ditching the chin strap would be harder to do. A non D-ring style would be nice.

I thought some kind of neck roll that filled in the space between your shoulders and your helmet would help with noise and it could help with safety too.

This is the sole reason I wear a Nolan. The non-D-Ring "seatbelt-style" buckle can be done and undone with gloves on.
