Title: Melbourne (Australia) cheap DS
Post by: PhreaK on December 02, 2015, 10:20:52 AM
In case anyone here is interested, it sounds like Mototecnic have a new (assuming ex-demo) black 2014 DS still available for $15,490 on road.

I've been tempted to get this one as my first Zero. Too risky as I live 750km away from nearest dealer for any warranty work. I'd have to be nuts.  :o
Don't know if there would ever be a dealer / market in feral Adelaide in the near future.

Ok this guy puts me to shame. http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=5319.msg37569#msg37569 (http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=5319.msg37569#msg37569)

He lives an extra 2500km further west from the dealer than me!

Sometimes we have electricity in Adelaide, just not when slightly hot or windy. Or Victoria decides to turn our state off ::)
Plenty of sunshine though if I could displace money spent on bikes for solar panels
