Title: Zero live stream on DEC 9th
Post by: NEW2elec on November 24, 2015, 10:13:54 AM: Zero's Facebook page is showing a Livestreaam Dec 9th 2:30 - 3:30 PST. I think Scott said this stream would be more battery focused and technology for the IPM motors so all you EEs get in there and ask away. Address any ideas you may have for the future. Pretty unique for a company to want 1 on 1 feedback this way so make it positive so they keep doing it.

You can link from Zero's facebook page. Mostly motor info but explained well, nice job.

Main point I got out if it was IPM has constant magnetic field in magnetic poles reduced Eddie currents and thus heat. Good to see Zero always looking to improve design efficiency and cost and simplicity.

Zero has a well balanced efficent system.

The other point seemed to be improving aerodynamics will increase range and airflow/cooling of motor.
Hope that's the next development.

Also they said if we want fairing we had to tell them so start the electronic bombardment ;D

I hope zero continue with these.
