Has anyone that got in an early order heard word about shipment? We need an unboxing video, pictures and first impressions. ;D Also, where are you gonna go first that you couldn't go before? (or could but was unreasonable)

Well, all I can tell you is that I live in southern California, specifically San Diego east county. Soon within easy reach will be Big Bear lake, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, Ojai, maybe even as far north as San Francisco before long....all I have to do is figure out how to detour around that armpit known as Los Angeles. I've done the PCH run many times, but of course not on this bike. I trailered my bike up to the Santa Cruz Mountains in July; soon it will probably be possible to make a (multi-day) trip up there on the bike. A whole new world is about to become accessible.
Map shows J1772 and 14-50 outlets only, but all networks. I'll have to figure out which network(s) I'll need to join soon. Also, 3kW J1772 stations are pretty lame with this charger. Plugshare needs to update their app to show power capability.
No news as of yet, and I've got the #5 reservation. They took my money a while back, but haven't even asked for my shipping address yet. Not too surprising, honestly. I'm an EE and I know what it takes to launch a commercial product, so I'm not holding my breath. It'll happen, though.
