Title: California Air Resource Board ev rebate updat

Hey folks,
For those of us in California, I contacted Johanna Levine (heading up the ev rebate program) and she said that with the California budget approval the program can begin to move forward.  They will hire an outside administrator and organize the department over the next month or so.  Rebates should be available in November.  She will be able to answer specifics after September 15th.  No rebates will be given to those purchasing an electric vehicle early.  The program will have a web sight which will be linked with the California ARB web sight allowing us to see which vehicles are eligible for the rebate and supplying the necessary forms to receive the rebate.  Rebate turn around time will be about four weeks when the program gets up and running.
