Title: 2010 Zero S for sale bad motor everything else works price lowered $1750 obo
Post by: awlgood on October 15, 2015, 05:35:21 AM: I have a 2010 Zero S with about 3300 miles. The battery is good but it is not running due to what I believe is motor failure. I have not had it professionally checked but based on my knowledge, the motor failed and one key sign is it wont roll easily. Also this motorcycle was customized to look like a cafÃ© racer and I have an extra set of custom rims 19 front 18 rear excel rims with zero hubs. If interested please contact me at 909 374 6935. Not willing to ship or separate the wheels at this time.

Talk to Zero about a trade in, not a dealer but the factory... I had a dead motor on my Zero 2010 and since they didn't really support the older prototypes, they gave us a good trade in.

BTW, did the carrier burn up taking out all the positive brushes, because that is how my motor died and I am looking into it. I have built an experimental carrier for the Agni to see if I can run it up to maximum without a burnout.

It doesn't use the original pop rivet brushes either, it is using PMG 132 brushes.... Bike will be crushed next month... Doing this to "find out"....The carriers will be directly wired to the feed, so that they can carry current as close to the tips as practical, to within a few mm, negating the need for exactly matched brushes at all times.
