Title: Changes between '13.'14, &'15?
Post by: manitou on October 13, 2015, 10:59:56 AM
Besides the obvious battery sizes, what changed between years?
(A Wikipedia write up waiting to happen I bet.. For all the models yards for that matter)

Thanks!

for the fx:

sorry this might be a little all over the place

MY13 uses:
koso guage
independent battery (doesnt work with 14 or 15 batteries)
13 still has small head bearing stimilar to the 2012

the 2014 has much larger headbearings
and i beleive the 15 is larger once again

fork info
MY13 are fast ace, the DS and FX forks are interchangeable so you can go to supermotor wheels/ street wheels, and still keep fx stock height (using the s or ds wheels which have larger rotor much better stopping!!!)

38mm top and bottom clamp size

you can put the S forks on the fx to get a lower (1-1.5") and then use the s wheels with the larger rotor

and then once again the xu will be one step shorter again, the 13 xu also has a lower rear shock that is extremely low!!! lowers the fx to IIRC (off top of my head I can get a pic) 28" seat height compared to a 32ish of stock fx

basically all wheels can be interchanged from 2012-2015

the 14s have the larger bearings going to the Ball style bearings rather than the 13's which have "pin rollers"

14 triple clamps are ID
38-39mm top and 48 bottom **** need to varify that

MY15 clamps ID 49 and 49

13 non interchangable battery
14-15 interchangable

14-15 have the more unique Zero guage cluster

what else are you looking for? give me points and Ill see if I can get you answers

There isn't one for 2013.

All the Zero models are there and you can also see what else came out that year.

Essentially yes. They recalled the '13 motors at one point for a magnet adhesive repair, and corrected on motors produced afterwards.
