Title: Aftermarket Wind Screen for ZERO Bikes
Post by: Ron Sindric on July 29, 2015, 03:02:07 AM
I have windscreens on my other bikes and wanted one for my 2014 S zf11.4 but didn't want to pay what ZERO was asking for an OEM one.  Rummaging through a local thrift store I found a handlebar mount windscreen from NATIONAL CYCLE [ http://www.nationalcycle.com/deflectorscreen-hd.html (http://www.nationalcycle.com/deflectorscreen-hd.html) ] for $10.00 that was just the ticket.  It seems to work fine deflecting the air stream from my upper body.

I have since found clip on / bolt on modifiers that attach to the top of a wind screen to give the rider even more control of the air strteam:

Has anyone had experience with these ?

Yes,  i had a laminar lip on my yamaha ICE scooter,  and it worked wonders.  Raised the stream from my chin to over my head,  and I'm 6'4". Pricey,  though. ..
