Just visited the new Zero dealer at BMW motorcycles in San Jose.
Had new Michilin Pilot 4 rear tire put on.
Only costs $55. Fast service and they offer to check out the logs and updrade the sw if necessary and tune the throttle settings for $99.
Very friendly and fast service.
Great to finally have a reliable local dealer to go to.

Glad to hear about their service. I bought my 2014 SR there about a month ago... Loving it so far. I also ordered the rear rack and windshield from them. They came within a week...

A necro-bump, but SJ BMW is unfortunately no longer a Zero franchisee, per a phone conversation I had with the parts department today (7/23/24). They referred me to Contra Costa Powersports for my parts order.

Yeah I got the same response too a few months back. I tried SF Moto, but should try Contra Costa Powersports just to compare how the services differ

Well, that is too bad. They were one of the earliest Zero dealers and (I believe) were the closest shop to the factory HQ. At least SF Moto still seems to be hanging in there.

I recently had the missus' DSR serviced at SF Moto. One of the best service experiences I can remember. 5 stars, would recommend.
Plus they're a real service shop. I asked about installing an additional 3kw charger to a gen 3 SR that only came with 3kw stock. They said they would ops check one if I got it second hand and quoted me just the labor to do the install and would let me know if I needed any additional parts for the wiring harness or anything.
Like I was expecting a hard "no" to doing custom work, followed by a hard sales pitch to buy another bike to get the 6kw charging natively.
Once they knew I was asking because I didnt want to spend $3000 on a charge tank they were on board and in problem solving mode.
Can't say enough good things about them

I believe that SF Moto's Zero mechanic is the same one that used to work for Mission Motorcycles in Daly City that started carrying the Zero bikes in 2010 and where I bought my 2014 S before they went out of business a few years later and their Zero technician, office manager and enthusiastic Zero sales lady moved to SF Moto.
