Hey, whose bike is this? A Volt owner charged next to you and had never seen/heard of electric motorcycles before. It sparked a fun discussion in the Chevy Volt owner's group on facebook. :-)

I had a Volt. Sold it just prior to the 2016 announcements. Took less of a hit than I would have had I waited.
I now have a 2014 Ford Focus Electric ( FULL electric, no gas ) in my garage next to my 2012 XU and 2013 FX.

Yup, I have a Volt now because overall I use less gasoline with it than I do with an all electric car. Here's why:

I have had all electric vehicles for the last 5 or 6 years, going back even further with electric bicycles and scooters.
I have also always had gasoline powered vehicles as back up. As much a proponent of electric as I am, I have
always agreed that if you only had ONE vehicle, then, the Volt would be the only REAL choice. Unless, you had
a Tesla. In 15k, miles, I used 7 gallons of gas, and, that was ONLY because it required the gas engine to run,
I have a Civic Hybrid that I use for road trips, and, Various ICE bikes for trips longer than around town. No argument
the Volt is a GREAT car. Overall, better in almost all categories than my Focus Electric.
