Title: 2012 S back rack solutions
Post by: mikeisted on April 13, 2015, 01:38:03 PM
Does anyone know if there are any back racks still available for a ZF9?  Or indeed any non-Zero systems that fit?  Cheers.

I actually have one for sale.  Used it for years, PM me for details.

What is available for a 2015 S?

I'm presuming the official rack for a 2012 S is different to a 2015 S.  But I have to say I have not looked recently, as I don't have a 2015...

Anybody know of a back rack that will go on a 2013 FX?

2013+ have racks you can buy from Zero.  For 2012 most of us use a Givi Wingrack II.

Hi Ben.  Did you get my PM?  Presumably there is a fitting kit for the Wingrack? Cheers.

Thanks zap mc.  I'm always amazed at the things people know! However, I am looking forward to the arrival of a rack from benswing from his old 2012.  Cheers.

My rack has arrived in the UK - thanks Ben!  It's at the local post office, who want further £23 for import tax! For a second hand rack!! :-(

So much for the Special Relationship..... Think I'll call my local Councillor on this for a cathartic rant ;-)

After a quick respray, benswing's Givi Wingrack 2 now sits very nicely on my ZF9.  I also found a good deal on ebay for a 45l top box, which is big enough to hold my sandwiches and a quadcopter.  Anyway, big thanks to Ben!

Yay!  Glad you got it painted and mounted.  I put a lot of miles on that thing and I hope you get many useful miles out of it as well!
