I noticed that announcement, too. When I saw the new VP's backgrounds I started to think that Zero is hiring their management with an eye toward their links with the automotive industry. I note that John Zukoff had a position at Tesla. And both VP's appear to have been jumping from one automotive brand to another. Both of these guys have moved around quite a bit. They must have a lot of contacts in the industry. Hopefully they are good contacts. ;)
I wonder what they see in Zero, considering that I doubt they are getting a raise from their previous positions? I still think no one is going to get rich making and selling electric motorcycles for some time (as long as cheap oil holds out). In the meantime I guess they will be getting an eduction in a niche market within the EV field. ???

I guess John Zukoff, the new QA guy, learned at GM what *not* to do...
They might not be getting raises or a lot of money. They might be considering it "getting in on the ground floor" without having to work at a completely new start-up. They may just be hoping Zero does indeed become a big brand.
Though the guy couldn't have gone that long at Tesla... I wonder if he's going to actually stick it out.
