Hahaha. They've managed to advance to the 1920s, and reinvented the trailing-link fork, sprung saddle, and hard-tail frame. I sure wouldn't want to ride 100+ kph on that.

...well that big black thing does have sprung rear end, though it looks like a hardtail. I think that's an old BMW design, isn't it Richard? The craftsmanship on these things I find simply amazing.

Ted, I would say that the rear suspension design on the Italjet "motorcycle" is very similar to what Vincent used on their V-twins. In concept it also is similar to Yamaha's first mono-shock suspension that they used on their dirt bikes during the late 1970's. Not a bad system and it can be hidden fairly well by the designer if they want to make the bike look like a "hard tail".

Post dated 2011, and the suspension? Patented 1927. ::) So even if it's not a hardtail, CrashCash is right on the money. ;D

That is done because there are a couple of "web sites" that have no problem ripping from other sites without crediting the work from those sites; With a watermark at least there is a visual link back.
Ted this is the second time you attack me in your comments. It's pathetic since you do more wrong than what you write about. It looks a lot like some old guy who writes to every newspaper editor complaining about a misplaced comma, or some conspiracy theory.
If you are going to throw stones, make sure your house is clean. It's not. Far from it.
And on the previous comment about "journalists" (the Impossible scooter), you're probably quite right. I'l not a journalist. My 7 years working for UPI and Reuters don't count, nor does make current work for one of world's biggest newspapers and two largest travel magazines.

Having tried to package batteries on several builds myself (and trying to figure out two new ones right at the moment) this just knocked my socks off. I have to agree, Ted. That bike in your photo really looks like it could be in a modern industrial art museum. I love what they did with the removable battery pack, the leather detailing and the springer fork are really nice touches. But all that detailing and finishing sure looks expensive! ::)
