2013 Zero FX5.7 located in Portland, Oregon. Only 1,029 miles. Bike has always been stored inside and it has not been ridden near enough. This FX has Zero Accessory Cycra Handguards and Heated Grips installed by the dealer. Bike has never been down and is in mint condition. Latest Firmware is active and it has run flawlessly with no errors, no startup issues, no charging issues, no problems of any kind. Always left on the plug when not in use as recommended by Zero Motorcycles. Zero Motorcycles 2 year warranty starts on Key insertion and this bike has more than 1 year of Zero Factory warranty left.
This is a great bike for riding trails, urban riding, or carving the twisties. Truly a great motorcycle experience with a great power to weight ratio that lends itself to rapid acceleration and light weight handling. Set the power delivery to your liking with the Zero Motorcycles App and your smartphone.

Why do you sell?

Why do you sell?
I am selling the bike because my professional situation changed and I now have a company car and free commuting to work that comes along with that. Since starting the new job and seeing that the Zero gets very little use it simply doesn't make sense to keep it for as little as I am using it. I only rode it 1K miles this season.
Since my motorcycling now becomes a weekend or afternoon activity I want longer range rides and that means that I am riding the gas bike as it can be "recharged" in 1 minute with a 200 mile range.
I considered also keeping the Zero and selling the gas bike and building some battery packed panniers and some fast chargers but I just don't have the spare time and money to pour into that effort.
The FX is perfect. My life/work situation just changed and that lead to less motorcycle riding that fits the electric use case and more motorcycling that fits the gas powered use case so the Zero goes up for sale.
I may come back to the electric mode of transport again in the future when I can buy an FX20 with integrated Fast Charging but until then it doesn't make sense to me to keep the FX around for only 1,000 miles per season.

Thanks! We're finally forecast for some non-icy/snowy days here in Colorado, so I can go play on my new baby. ;D
