Title: Group rides with 3+ electric motorcycles
Post by: benswing on October 13, 2014, 07:32:47 PM
I'm curious if there have been any group rides with 3 or more electric motorcycles that were of any significant length.  And by that I mean going through the hills on a weekend joyride.

I'm interested to see how charging was handled, what bikes were there, and how it worked out including challenges.

Please either post here, or PM me.  Looking into writing an article about it.

Earlier this year I participated in a 3-Zero ride and mentioned it on this post:   http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=3512.0 (http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=3512.0)

In addition to the photo that I attached to that previous post, this is the only other photo that I took that day.

Three Brammo owners in Hoorn (30 kilometers north of Amsterdam)

One guy charged on the ferry on the way over to Hoorn, I charged at a public L2 chargepoint and there was a bit of charging done at McDonalds :)
I did about 180 kilometers that day (about 110 miles).

I'd love to get a ride together in San Diego. Anybody else up for a Ramona run?

A few of us got together in Austin yesterday. We might make it a regular thing.
