Title: Optima yellow top batteries
Post by: NewAge on June 04, 2009, 09:02:33 PM
I am considering using these Optima D51 batteries in my new project.
Does anyone have any experience or input regarding them.

If you are not familiar with EVAlbum.com please check it out, you can go there and do a search By Components, then click on Battery Brand, and then select Optima, you will see everyone who is using them, here are a few highligths

I bought my Optima batteries locally. When I went in the store I told them that I wanted 5 Yellow Tops but would like a discount on a large purchase like that. All they had were 5 batteries on the shelf so that worked out. They looked at me hard and long and offered a 10% discount, I took it!.....paid for my sales tax anyway. Almost felt I could have asked for more tho??

Never pay retail!  ;)

Amazon.com sells them as well. I have been tracking them for some time. http://camelcamelcamel.com/product/B00075OSD8

If you have Amazon Prime you get them shipped 2-day at no cost but the cost to join prime.
