Title: Michael Czysz
Post by: Richard230 on September 26, 2014, 08:59:22 PM
It looks like Michael Czysz will not be with us much longer.  :(   Here is his sad story and what he is up to now:

I wish the best for Michael and his family. It was fun working with him on their first bike, the 2009  e1pc. He's a great designer and really knows how to get his team of designers and engineers go from pen and paper to a final product. I hadn't ever seen the design process of motorcycles before I worked with him. Its not just an engineered part, there's an art to the body of the bike and he could sketch something in an evening. I still have a drawing of the first iteration of our 2009 bike.

He will be missed in the industry that's for sure.

Sad to see such a giant of man go out that way. Really sad.

Motorcycle.com has just published a terrific, informative and well written article about the life of Michael Czysz and his motorcycle riding and development career.  It also includes mention of a new motorcycle hybrid propulsion system that he is currently developing.  This is a great article and I recommend that you read it:
