Title: 2 New Brammo Models In Next 6 months
Post by: skadamo on May 29, 2009, 03:49:08 AM

Brammo announced in a Wired.com article/interview that 2 new models are on the way…

“We’ll be announcing two new models within the next six months, and they’ll will incorporate some of the technology we’ve developed for the race bikes,” he said. “We’ll have one bike below the Enertia in terms of price and another akin to the race bike but more appropriate to the street.”

About the TTR TTXGP bike:
Bramscher couldn’t say how much range the battery provides.

“Hopefully 37-1/2 miles,” he said with a laugh. That’s the length of the course. “Having enough gasoline on a motorcycle has never been a challenge. Having enough battery on a motorcycle will be a challenge.”

“Our goal is to be the best handling bike and the one that goes through the curves the fastest so we’ve got the highest average speed,” he said.

According to a quick search of the US Patent and Trademark Office, two new trademarks registered on May 14, 2009, to Brammo:  Encite (http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4002:atfk46.3.5) and Engage (http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4002:atfk46.3.6).

Notably absent from their trademarks: Enertia.  That must be why Enertia Homes (http://enertia.com/) decided they could name their alternative fuel vehicle the Enertia (http://www.enertiamotors.com/).  Of course, any decent trademark attorney could blow them out of the water with the "first use in commerce" theory... but that's beyond the scope of this board.

Nice researching man! Looks like the search results are not linkable, links are expired.

Is this where you started the search?
http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/PTO/search-bool.html

What terms did you use?

Thanks!

Yes, that's where I started.  Just search for "brammo" in all fields.  It looks like the search results are only displayed for so long and then the session times out.  That's no way to run a search engine, but apparently it's good enough for the USPTO.

Okay, from that site, choose "Structured Form Search" and put "Brammo" (without the quotes) in the first "search term" box.  Hit "submit query" and the various trademarks should come up.  I see "ronin" "brammo" "progt" "american supercar" "Engage" and "Encite".

Let me know if you get the same results.
