Title: Consumer Reports reviews the 2014 Zero range
Post by: Richard230 on July 04, 2014, 04:19:47 AM
You may have received an email from Zero pointing out this link to a Consumer Reports review of the Zero motorcycle range.  But if you didn't, here is a link to the mostly positive article:

http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2014/06/zero-motorcycles-electric-motorcycle-review/index.htm (http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2014/06/zero-motorcycles-electric-motorcycle-review/index.htm)

It is no big surprise that they felt the suspension and brakes could be improved.  I also note a mention that Zero's Marketing guy, Scott Harden, states that battery prices are dropping and that they are looking toward extending maximum range to 200 miles.  It sounds like something that might be coming along next year.

This line in the article seems a bit funny "and relatively little maintenance". :)

I'm surprised they say they have a wide turning circle. Is that the S/SRs only? To me it didn't seem like the FX has a wide turning circle, when I tried it.
