Title: Tapping into the 2013 S model brake light wiring advice?
Post by: SK on June 12, 2014, 01:28:54 PM
I'd like to install one of these wireless transmitters onto my 2013 Zero S, which will work with the red light on the back of my helmet and synchronize this light with the operation of the brake lights. Any advice on where I may want to tap into the brake light wiring and mount this puppy?    ::)

Probably the easiest would be the 3 pin connector near the "tube" of the bike leading to your rear brake. I believe the wire you want is the white red stripe wire. if not this wire then the brown one down there. I would suggest getting a volt meter and bridging the black and the white/red with the meter then activating the brakes.

I would suggest using a http://www.posi-lock.com/posiplug.html (http://www.posi-lock.com/posiplug.html) posi tap
