Hey everyone! I'm currently stationed at Offutt AFB in Nebraska, and am in the process of converting a 1992 Yamaha XJ600 Seca II, to electric hub-motor driven streetfighter-style motorcycle!
The bike is currently stripped down to a frame, and I've got all the replacement body parts that I need on the way. I'm planning on investing in EnerTrac's MHM602 hub motor:

I'm also looking to get this thing up to 70mph, with about a 70-80mi range.
I'm not too keen on the battery technology, but from what I do know, I want to go with LiFePo4, at 96v. I'm not sure how many amp-hours/amps/Kwh I need though. Any help in that aspect would greatly be appreciated!

sounds like a pretty beefy hub moto youre getting, should do the trick! doesnt say how heavy it is though (as far as i can see) could be a concerne as putting th motor on the wheel will greatly increase the unsprung weight and significantly change the suspension action if the motor is quite heavy.
