Hello all,
just got my first ride with my wife yesterday. I was happy to go with her, at last. It is usually not possible due to our 9 months baby.
We ran for 45 minutes, mainly at low speed to enjoy birdsong. She appreciated it but she was in pain every time I had to stop.
I can't try it myself so I'm not sure if there is a position that would help. Do you know guys any solution?
By the way, she commented that she preferred my DRZ400S because it was making loud engine sound and that was more impressive. Ahh! That (the silence) is a hard thing to accept for many people.

I have not had a comfort complaint from my passengers; I think the only issue has been that it's a bit cozy and requires more care not to bump helmets when stopping quickly (but not so much care that it's super distracting). The passenger mount is not what I'd call "luxurious", but it's spacious enough that I wouldn't expect pain.
Not to imply anything, but the passenger may just be too tall/legs too long/etc. for the mount. And maybe hip pain after being a mother is a factor (I honestly do not know, being childless, just guessing). I would try to compare between bike models if possible.

I've had quite a few people on the back of my bike and the general consensus is: it's far more comfortable than your average sport bike.
No one has ever complained about it being uncomfortable but then again my passengers and I are probably younger than you and your wife. (no offense)
