How can the engine be able to run on gasoline or electricity?

I think zero's bike looks better in this category. That said competition is good so long as they don't get sued out of existence for violating patents (not saying they did btw)

The claim it can run on any fuel is accurate so long as that fuel is powering a generator used to recharge the bike

BRD isn't new. I'm interested in their claim that it ruins on any fuel.

Yeah they have been around for a while, but as far as I know have yet to release anything to production. That's somethign that I generally tout too, electric motorcycles can essentially run on any fuel by proxy (a gasoline bike for instance, can only run on gasoline). That can be a little bit confusing though.

well their web site says they are taking pre orders and hope to deliver in the next 7 months before 2015 comes, but the terms of the pre order are pretty loose; they dont' exactly inspire confidence.

Code: [Select]
The first 1,000 deposits received are $100 per unit. Deposits are $1,000 after that. Deposits will be accepted only via our website at www.faster-faster.com/bikes.html by credit card.
Deposits are placed into escrow and are refundable in full, at any time, for any reason, at your request.
BRD Motorcycles are sold and delivered only through reputable motorcycle dealerships. Delivery is predicated upon BRD signing a dealership agreement with a licensed dealership in your area. You can aid in this process by identifying your favorite dealership for us, and by notifying the dealership directly that you have placed a deposit on a BRD motorcycle. In the event that we cannot find a suitable dealership in your area, we will refund your deposit in full.
When a dealer in your area is identified and signed into the BRD network, you will receive priority on the unit of your selection shipped to your area. If there are other depositors in your area, priority will be based on the order in which deposits were received.
BRD intends to sell internationally. Pre-orders are open to any potential customers, anywhere in the world.
Delivery is intended, but not guaranteed, before the end of 2014. Depositors will receive updates on delivery dates for their area as development, testing, and dealership milestones are achieved.
