Craig Bramscher, Brammo's CEO, was interviewed by an Oregon publication and made some interesting comments about his company and its future. In particular, I found this comment interesting as it may say something about Brammo's future:
"In particular our research and development in the field of battery technology is continually growing and generating intellectual property, which will account for a significant amount of Brammo’s future value."

Bramscher now says that he wants to do an IPO in 2015 so that he can raise $1billion for Brammo and it looks like he wants to use the money to try building an electric car again. He doesn't mention motorcycles much in this summary of his comments at a financial meeting in Oregon recently. You can read a summary of his comments here:

Personally, I am not surprised to hear his comments. I always thought that the Brammo motorcycle development was just a stopgap measure so that he could gain some time, money, experience and technology, before going back to his idea of making an electric Atom sports car.
