Title: Zero produces a Special Forces model

Zero has just introduced a mil-spec DS model for Special Forces use.  See the photos and read a little here:

I saw 6 prototypes of this bike when I visited the factory in December.  I was asked not to take any photos as some military types were coming by later that week to pick them up for evaluation.  It is nice to see that the model is finally in production. Hopefully sales of this model will support ongoing research and development at the factory. I see that the instrument panel has been extensively modified.  I guess they don't need speedometers where these bikes will be used. :)

I like the idea that it can be ridden through one meter deep water.  That should be good enough for Florida riding.   8)

I sure hope these bikes don't suffer any glitches.   :-[

The base model Zero MX also does not have a speedometer.

Waterproof up to 1m of water!  That sounds like fun!!!

Salt water would be pretty nasty to clean out afterwards. But normal water is plenty conductive, I would think if the Zero MMX works fine through 1m of river water it'd do fine through 1m of salt water too.
