I have been riding bikes for a long time and have been interested in alternate fuels for a while, particularly electric.  I have been watching Zero for a while and think the technology has gotten to a place where I want one to commute from a Fort Worth suburb to Dallas to work every day.  I currently am riding a GL1800 in that role.  Goldwings cost $30k now, so I am interested in riding something that costs less to work in order to keep those miles off the GL to make it last longer.  I have an 11.4 S on order and am waiting with great anticipation for the middle of March when I expect delivery to my dealer.

Congrats on the order! You will have a great stable there. One excellent long range touring bike and a great commuting machine! The best of both worlds.
