Title: US Highland to make electric motorcycle and bicycle motors

An article by Ultimate Motorcycling reports that US Highland is getting into the electric bicycle/motorcycle motor business. The article says that Pike Research predicts that 466 million (!) electric motorcycles and bicycles will be sold worldwide between 2010 and 2016.   You can read the article here:

US Highland has been cranking out press releases for the last month announcing folks joining the company and funding. Seems they have regrouped since their leadership's plane crash. Looking forward to seeing what they have in mind. So far the stock price has seen a nice jump.

The gas motors are owned by a company in China so I seems it's just a mater of setting up a dealer network and an assembly plan in the USA... no small task :D Not sure where the electric technology is coming from.
