On the other hand, when does a bicycle become a motorcycle?  When it starts weighing over 100 pounds, perhaps?  My son-in-law has an electric bicycle that does 35 mph and weighs around 100 pounds.  (It only gets pedaled downhill.)   ::)

When does a bicycle become a motorcycle?  I'd say - when it doesn't have pedals.  I think some states/countries have that in their DMV regulations (vague memory of seeing this type of definition).

In choosing a new Electric Scooter Motor, there are a couple of thins you might want to know first. You might want to check this out: http://www.electricscootermotor.net/ (http://www.electricscootermotor.net/).

This had been a very good guide for many in terms of the electric bike.
