Title: How to search for all posts by a specific user?

One of the features I use a lot is the search by user.  You come across a guy who knows what he is talking about and  you want to see all the threads he has started, or posts he has made giving advice.  Or you simply want to search for all the threads you have started to see if there are any new replies.  How do you do that.

The search on this forum does not allow for a wild card search in the Search for: field when you enter a users name in the by user: field.

I am not biatchin n complainin, trust me the insight on this forum is amazing and I appreciate it, I am just asking how to do something that I can do on a lot of if not all of the other forums I am a member of, so I know i am not asking for something strange

Don't use the search box at the top right, use the advanced search at the top, in between Help and Profile:

Did you forget to put something to search for?

That's what I am complaining about, that search doesn't do it, it does NOT allow you to search for all threads by a certain person unless you put something in the Search for: box, well heck if I knew what the dude put in the Subject than I would not be searching for all his posts, lol

Try finding every thread that I have started, the name is "Gregski" please

Go to your profile and at the botom you will find a link "show latest posts by this person" (or something similar)

Nope, that only works for yourself not for others, if I look at your profile I don't get the options on the left hand side, dang it, thank you for trying to help.  I'm not ranting I just didn't want to go on living like this if there was a simple way to do it, and I just didn't know how, lol

Man, you can't find ANYTHING.... do some poking around. Follow Skadamo's directions, it's at the bottom, not on the left:

See at the bottom where it says "see the last posts of this person"...... click it.

Ha, glad you found it. Would be cool if all search related functions were on one screen.
