Title: Excellent build using the EnerTrac 603 motor/wheel

He did a really nice job and is happy with the build.

He's using 72 volts @ 35AH of sealed lead acid for a top speed of about 40 MPH. Certainly not a race bike with lead batteries. But a fun ride, and that's what Edward was looking for.

That's 20kW cont and 60 peak!

It leave you alot of room to put battery in the frame!

My friend J-L bought one and is making a conversion of a GSX-R1100 with headway cells and 600A 144V Kelly controller and that powerfull motor!

I'm new to electric, but after riding for 34 years it dawned on me I should be using my extra solar power to ride. Also let's say we load it up with as much lithium as she'll carry happily what kind of range might we expect at say 65 mph?
My last bike had 135hp, the one I'm riding now has 120hp. I'm told electric feels a lot more powerfull than the numbers would lead me to believe, so my question is how many electric hp will get me my 11 second 1/4 mile in say an 800 to 1000 pound package to get some range? Any insight would be appreceated?
