I know there was questions regarding Zero's ability to get shipments out the door but I can assure some none commercial customers are getting their bikes shipped. I just got the tracking number of my shipment. Was picked up on 8/13 so should arrive in Denver withing the next two days!
-
Grats, now fill out those tax forms!

Zero arrived! Unboxed and tested...it is sweet! Now I have to figure out if I can drive it with the temp registration papers they sent from CA?!? Only bummer is that it looks like the package fell in shipment and the right grip got damaged and possibly the extreme end of the handlebar got a little bent too. Email already in to Zero.
-
Yes you can drive on the temp CA reg.
-
Do I just tape that little CA registration slip to the license plate area? There was no instructions other than the paper CA registration slip that said it must be affixed to the vehicle before it was transported.
-
Just keep it with you. I've yet to be pulled over in CA on my Zero X. But the fact you have lights and blinkers might get you pulled over faster with no plate.
Id love to see some pics of the forced cooling setup on the DS

Congrats on the DS!! Pics please :D

Took the bike out for a ride last night for about 17 miles. While riding the range gauge said about 50% left, but after I parked it for a minute it went back to about 60%. Not bad. It was a mix of road speeds btw 35-50 most of the way. Here are a couple of pics. I can take some better ones if more people are interested. The second one is a underseat pic to show the new motor induction system...not the best pic but shows it fairly well. Let me know if anyone has any specific questions about the bike and I will let you know what I know. Overall I'm able to compare it to my 2007 Vectrix electric scooter. Let me know!
P.S. It wont let me upload any photos! It says the upload folder is full!

I posted them to my mobileme website. Enjoy! Of note, in the first pic that is me...and I'm 6'4" and sitting flat footed...ie this bike is pretty tall with the longer suspension and the stock Zero seat.
