Title: Current Status on the Unofficial Zero Manual
Post by: terryo on June 11, 2026, 12:32:40 AM
Today, at least for me, zero manual.com seems unreachable.

I am replacing the back tire of my 2020 Zero FX. When I took it off I noticed that the back brake pads are a wee bit thin. I purchased EBC pads for the front and back awhile ago. I do have spare pads for all my bikes so I thought it prudent to check my top choice with the Unofficial Zero Manual. I couldn't sign on. A brief search of the internet sounds like the hoster of this helpful wiki was having technical issues years ago involving spammers and the version of the wiki software he was using.

Is this manual really no longer available ?

Thanks - Terry

Same for me, says access is forbidden. That really sucks. It is available on the internet archive with the most recent snapshot being from back in August, probably hadn't changed much since then to be honest. I don't know what happened to it but I noticed maybe a year or two back some articles had been messed up, all the content missing and then a nonsensical message at the top as if someone had edited the page and didn't know what they were doing.

Its been down for a about a week now. The snapshot in august on the wayback machine is sadly only a partial archive as I never got around to feeding their crawler the rest of the links, and its also missing quite a few images... Id gladly throw a few dollars to help whoever was last responsible for hosting it! (not sure if that is Brian, or someone else). If it ever comes back up Ill scrape it and host a mirror like I did with the the official legacy service manuals!
