Title: Honda WN7 video review
Post by: Richard230 on March 17, 2026, 07:56:10 PM
Here is Cycle World's review of the new Honda WN7 electric motorcycle. Naturally, they love it. I was surprised to see that the rear wheel is driven by a belt. I believe this may be the first time Honda has featured a belt drive on one of their motorcycle models. Fully charged the range is about 60 miles under normal riding conditions. Top speed is around 80 mph:

It's a great competitor to the Del Mar and Can-Am Pulse, but nowhere near Zero (except of course vastly better on build quality and very likely reliability). Unfortunately it's not really moving the game on, unless they suddenly come out with a bigger one shortly with a battery that's twice the size.

Cas :)
