speaking of, running the experia today, did about 40 miles straight at between 85 and 105 mph on the interstate... the rest all sorts of speeds, id say lowest was 35.. put it down to 8 percent on the battery and STILL got 102 miles on the one charge, even with those speeds, so in all honesty we've come a pretty long way given the weight, pd and longevity of lead acid which was the leading tech even back then until recently really.
if i remember jay leno has an electric car or two from the 1900s era and it's lead acid.

thank you for posting that. hell he could put 2 x 48 volt 100 ah lithiums in there , one in front one in back or 2x 36 is it? and save about 400 lbs with easily as much power and none of the worries of those batteries eating the shit out of everything with their fumes and needing to be replaced every few years.

Pretty sure it was in the AMA magazine that comes with a standard membership or an extra fee if one reaches life member status there was an article about a Harley Davidson battery motorcycle for the military perhaps in the 1950's. A few years ago. Perhaps one could search up a video if one was motivated.

One of my stops on my summer trip: Ludington, MI. The Cartier Mansion B&B. (Not the jewelry Cartier - but a Michigan lumbering family.) Here I am plugged into the charging station in front of what was their carriage house for their 1917 Detroit Electric.
