Title: Faster charging thanks to an oil company

Shell says they have a better thermal management fluid that helps charging speed.

Well, some company needs to manufacture an optimized fluid for EV operation/charging.

In the old days (& maybe still) IBM used distilled water to cool their mainframes.
Then Cray came along & used  3M’s https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluorinert
Unfortunately it has a high GWP (Global Warming Potential) so may not be longer be used.
Long story short, it makes sense for a petrol company to come out with a petrochemical regardless of its end usage.
