Title: What is this bar for on the Experia
Post by: DonTom on June 14, 2025, 10:44:02 AM
I never thought about this until I noticed my 2025 Experia has a bar below the screen, but my 2023 Experia never had it since new. So now I am curious what it is for.

A photo below of the screw holes only in my 2023 Experia, as the 2025 with the bar is now at my other house, until I get some things installed on it (GPS, TPMS, Bullet Brake).

The four holes (two one each side) in the photo below is what I am asking about:

My experia came as yours is shown there, nothing in the 4 holes.  I ordered the gps mount bar at some point and added it.  If I remember correctly it allows you to mount it higher or lower depending on what device you have.

So it's mainly for mounting things? An option on the 2023 but comes with the 2025 models?

I already have a GPS on my 2023, mounted on the handlebar left side. Perhaps I will mount my new GPS on that bar for my 2025.

I assume it is not now possible to get that bar for my 2023. But I already have all the stuff mounted that I need on that bike anyway.

yeah, it was the GPS mounting bar accessory. can't recall if I paid for it or the dealer just chucked it in the box with the charger and other accessories...
Either way, I installed it on the Launch Edition after getting the bike home.

Come to think of it, I didn't get a charge cable with my 2025 Experia. But I have many of them anyway, and they are only rarely used. At both of my houses, I usually use my 12KW Tesla Wall Connector with a Tesla Tap to charge up my bikes.

Perhaps I will mount my new GPS on that bar on my 2025 Experia.  If I like it that way better, then I will wonder if it is possible for me to get such a bar for my 2023 Experia.

Isnt that for the GPS Mount that was sold separately? I have that on my Experia LE holding a Garmin Zumo.

At least one still available, might be a box of them on the shelf at energica USA too.

Thanks, you made that very simple for me. I somehow never even thought about checking at AF1 Racing.

I just now ordered it, so now none are left at ATF Racing.

A bit pricy for a little bar.

Pay Pal tells me:

You paid $68.94 USD to AF1 Racing

YOU BASTARD DONTOM!   ;D ;D ;D

I had that in my shopping basket, but got distracted by wife telling me it was past by bedtime. I go to checkout this morning and there's none left. I too forgot AF1 sell energica stuff and had only checked EONE and the netherlands

Probably for the best though, shipping was an additional $45usd making it a $106usd bar

Please tell your wife "thanks!" for me! ;)

And she will probably want to thank me also for saving you $106.00! ;D

Let our spouses never know the true cost of this hobby. She'd faint if I ever told her what just putting tyres on her bike costs!

Then again, she didn't blink when I asked if shes happy with $2400 on airbag vests

A post from 2023 where I fabbed a mount for a Zumo on the GPS bar.  Works great, 6000 mile later!
