Title: bags
Post by: Specter on April 30, 2025, 06:36:47 AM
i lost one of the bags on my bike.  the givi bags.
it seems that they are not making them anymore?

anyone have a set they are looking to sell, or know an alternate source maybe?

not sure what happened,  left my bike at the shop for repairs, i blew a seal on my shock.   brought bike in it had both bags, now it got one.  bike shop feels real bad, left it out front for a bit but they do that with a lot of bikes, no big deal.  one of the bags is gone now.... shrug.

so, looking for a bag  the left one...  or both, nobody wants to sell just one bag, id buy both.

thank you
Aaron

No. If you look at the video at that link the inside of those bags is vertical. On the bags Energica uses the top is farther away from the vertical line of the tire compared to the bottom. Hoping that makes sense. On the bags Energica uses the inside (as in closest to the bike) is definitely not vertical.

looking at the back of the bags, it looks like the latching points are a bit different too.
i reached out to energica and was told they think they stopped making that model.   so was reaching out here to see if anyone had any laying around, maybe from an upgrade or crash or something they were looking to sell.

thank you for posting anyways, appreciated.

The Energica bags use one of the three or four Givi standard mounts but it's not a popular one. You can get bags for it but the specific ones Energica used are out of production and obviously the actual mounting frame is a custom job for Energica.

I did a quick check and it's called Easylock but I remember it being called Sport-T, as far as I can tell the only thing the sell for it it the ST609. It's kinda lame because MONOKEY has way better selection (but the mounting frame is bigger and more visually intrusive).

The Side bags used were Givi ST601 or ST604. I have the ST604.
They are out of Production, but you might have some luck finding them online
Cheers

yahh...  there a few floating around on like e bay and the likes.  they want 600 usd plus for them, and i can imagine that the shipping to the states would add another 200 or so. hm, ill keep looking.
