Hello everyone,
here and on Facebook and also in some other forums everywhere there is a discussion about the liquidation.
Just to summarize todays status:
1st round - base price 5.7m EUR, minimum bid 4.275m EUR. Ended without bids on 30.01.2025
2nd round - base price 4.275m EUR, minimum bid 3.2xxm EUR. Ended without bids on 20.03.2025
Personally, I now expect a third round with a further reduced starting bid.
After all, the creditors want to be served in the best possible way.
At the auction at the Court of Modena, there is also a PDF with the inventory. I ran that file through a PDF-to-Excel-converter, decluttered it a little and then had it translated.
It might be exciting for one or the other to take a look through it... ;)
Happy browsing ;D

I shouldn’t have looked through that list. Now I’m sad.

@Grauteufel - Why is that?
Actually, I haven’t been looking in detail myself. Now I took a closer look - they are only selling what falls to the ground if you turn the building upside down and shake it.
So not the buildings/premises, no designs or other IP. Not even the production line itself. Purely movable tools, parts and furniture.
I am wondering what will happen with that.

It's interesting to filter / study state of manufacturing with respect to battery pack inventory...
Over 50,000 32AmpHr cells listed...was searching for capitol equipment such as ultra-sonic or laser welding...nothing. Take a look at bus-bar bits and it alludes to (6) cell array w/BMS interface...hmmm, are cells attached to bus-bar by fasteners?

Well, the 32ah cells are Farasis P32. They are Pouch cells with unidirectional cell tabs. These tabs are going through basically "a very big PCB board", where then each cell is bolted to the next AT THE CELL TABS witch 3 bolts/tab to the next one. So yes, the cells are interconnected by fasteners, as well as the bus bars that connect the 9 modules in the battery.

i just visited Farasis online site
These P32 cells are in Optimum performace group
30-35min charging
In ultra performance group there are cells which has 18min charging and with same weight we will achieve 25-25,5kWh battery

Wonder what you would pay to ship it all to the US.
-
at one point, i believe they were floating the idea of an energica usa / and an energica.. italy???
worse case, the usa survives and it makes it over here in some deal of sorts.
im thinking this auction is an attempt to raise some cash to pay current mandatory bills.. ie electric, rent, insurance etc, until ...something finalizes.
hopefully we hear something soon.
