Title: Zero X in the snow!
Post by: justzeros on May 17, 2010, 10:13:42 AM
Hey guys,

Thought I'd share some photos of one of my customer's 2009 X. Bruce loves his motorcycles! These photos were taken North of Sun Valley Idaho at the foothills of the Boulder Mountain range. Sometime in mid March. I threw some snow camo vinyl on for him and a set of the Just Zeros foot peg brackets with Fastway Evolution III pegs. Check out the studded tires. He found some really cool "self tapping" carbide studs. I was impressed with how well they worked. He took that thing all over town throughout the winter and it did really well on hard pack snow.

The Just Zeros foot peg mount with the Fastway Evolution III pegs.  Notice the mixed and matched F5 & F6 cleats.

Amazing traction!

The instant torque certainly made the rear break loose a bit, but once you figured it out... it could really work to your advantage.

Have a good week!

Where did he get the Camo?
Is it a sheet w/adhesive backing that you cut to size then peel and stick?
I've been looking on Cabelas web site and no luck finding anything like that.
I want to do the same thing when I get my electric bike.....when.
