Title: Zero raising $120m
Post by: Fred on October 26, 2024, 05:25:23 PM
Some good news, I think. A bit ironic coming so close to the Energica news though.

It does list executives and directors.

Rule 506c seems to mean they hired some third party to advertise for investors.

Back when Polaris and Hero invested they were supposed to have sufficient funds at that time....  below from a linked article by the link in post 1 Sept 2022

"Zero Motorcycles has all the necessary resources to continue pushing the boundaries of two-wheeled EV’s and electric powertrains and leading the transformation of the motorcycle and powersports industry through electrification."

I imagine that they can use the additional $120 million. Will Zero be the last one standing in the high-performance, mass-produced electric motorcycle market?

One million dollars per volt :)

Honestly I'd be sad to see Zero being the only pure EV manufacturer standing because for all their technical competence they're the ones who give electric motorbikes the soulless tech bro white goods image.

Zero: hmm we really need a new high voltage powertrain to keep up and we've got $120m to figure it out. What to do. What to do...
Energica: *cough*
Zero: perhaps we should make some more trail bikes.
Energica: hem hem
Zero: bold new colours perhaps?
Energica: wtf

Cas :)
