Title: BMS Firmware Upgrade to V26 Failure - Fixed on It's Own
Post by: karlh on July 17, 2024, 09:40:18 PM
I have a 2020 SR/S with the power tank, so I have 2 BMS units.  When I attempted the latest MBB / BMS upgrades, BMS 2 did not upgrade.  I assume BMS 2 is for the power tank.  The attached Firmware Manager screenshot shows the current status.  When I select UPDATE BMS the process appears to run properly, but at completion I get the same status display and no error messages.  Has anyone with a power tank experienced the same problem?

I also have the power tank on my 2021 SRS.
the update actually crashed, but to my surprise, the 2 revisions of the management system of the 2 batteries are under revision 26

Thanks for the update.  I posed the same question to Zero but have not received any response.

I keep contacting them in the Netherlands, I'm from France, so they can activate my new CCM, it's done remotely, it's written in the repair manual, but they never respond.
In the United States, I have always received a response, but quite late, but they at least respond.
Good luck to you :-)

My problem solved itself.  After letting the bike sit for almost 2 weeks, I powered it up and got the Update Available message again on the dash.  I ran the update and checked the firmware versions with the app when finished, and both BMSs are now showing V26.
