Hey guys,
I have a 2021 Eva Ribelle (big battery, no RS version, no EMCE motor).
From what I understood, I thought this bike should have a max. (continuous..) power of 107 kW.
I do see 107 kW in the display most of the time, but if it is charged above ~50 % SOC in warm weather, I am seeing more power than that.
Above 85 % SOC, I am seeing up to 125 kW.
Is this normal for the non RS version? Can any of you guys comment what your displayed max power is?

This sounds correct...the drive is limited to 400Amps max on the Ribelle w/ Rinehart controller which is what you have.
107,000 Watts / 400Amps = 267.5V (pack voltage)
125,000 Watts / 400Amps = 312.5V (pack voltage)
The voltage discharge curve that results from high SOC to low SOC looks correct (per results above) for NCM chemistry.

Yes, I got the Cascadia Motion (Rinehart) inverter.
I was comparing some specs to the RS (the old RS, but it's still similar), and all the marketing around the RS version is very shady.
"perfected ECU programming". I noticed that the RS runs a 15 tooth front sprocket instead of a 16 tooth, I am suspecting that this is the main difference, cause this should make a big difference.
Did anyone ever put a 15 tooth sprocket on their non-RS bike?

The EMCE motor peaks up to 125 but has a lower continuous power.

For me it is not shady, but clear like you say, a front sprocket, stickers and software. And the software manly to get the speedometer is adjusted to the other sprocket.
An 15 tooth sprocket one a non RS bike, will work, only the speedo will not read correctly. Or less correctly than it already is.

That changes the Torque a bit, but overall at the top end, you'll need X amount of horsepower to go YY miles per hour with zz wind drag. when you look at the drag numbers up around 180 - 190 MPH the sprocket changes don't mean a hell of a lot of much anymore. You may start faster but essentially end up at the same end point. Sooner or later you run out of HP to accelerate anymore no matter what your sprocket ratio is. Just my theory, as I'd never speed on the interstate. 8) Oh! that was I 165 ? my bad, I thought that was the speed limit.

There is no real top end, as the ribelle maxes out at 125 mp/h (200 km/h), sitting at only 60-70 kW.
Even the Ego maxes out at 150 mp/h (240 km/h).
So I did not quite get what you were trying to say here.
The crossover point where torque starts dropping off and the constant power region begins is about 60 mp/h (100 km/h). The bike is not power limited until that point, so I believe that a smaller front sprocket should make a significant impact on acceleration. I think the RS is not much more than that.

On a racing bike there is no top cap, it'll go until you run out of HP to make it go or max out your rpm's if you are really playing with stuff. I don't believe I have ever hit any sort of 'rev limit' on my bike so can't tell you what that value might be. I think i seen 12k motor RPM at one point somewhere though but don't quote me on that.
changing your sprockets, yes it is going to change your torque, and change your acceleration. You don't want to get too wild where you are lifting the bike up every time you turn the throttle, or do you?
On the Ribelle, you are sitting up .vs. prone on the EGO, in a race position, so your center of gravity is higher, your body weight is not holding the front end down to the road as much as it does on the EGO. Do you want to turn your bike into a wheelie machine or keep it something a bit more controllable?
As for the speedo inaccuracy I believe they fixed that in rev 43, however on that, yes, anytime you do change sprocket arrangements you will change the accuracy of the speedo since a non race bike does not have a way to put in your sprocket tooth count that I am aware of, to alter the math on it. This should be easy for you to figure out though just doing the basic math on it though.

I am reviving my own thread because the question wasn't really answered.
Can you guys tell me what you are seeing as max power indicated on your dashboard?
Above 85% SOC and at good temperature, I am seeing 125 kW on my Eva (no RS, no EMCE). I thought only the EMCE models have more than 107 kW.
What is your max power on Energicas?

I will give it a try this afternoon, the hardest part is finding a bit of road safe enough to pin it for 4 seconds.

My racing bike does not have that screen so can't tell you there.
Should be the same as the EGO though Id think, same power train and all, just top speed is higher on the EGO and you do not need max power to reach max speed.
Even if you did peg it, that does not mean that it necessarily will be putting out max power, if it's speed is maxxed it'll cut power to maintain that top capped speed. and if you are pegging it and still accelerating Id hope you are watching the road and not squinting at some tiny ass screen trying to see a max power. use a camera if you must ;D

Here in Germany we have many opportunities to stay at full throttle;) but the number I am looking for can be seen easily after 2 seconds stable acceleration, and I'm seeing 125 kW.

For DC power it's a simple Volts x Amps to give you KW of power.
You can go into your engineering screen and see what the battery voltage is at and there is a line that is for max amps too I believe, which I think is 400 amps. so 400 amps max times whatever your pack voltage is at, and that is your max power at the moment. Do know though that if you heft it that much you will probably sag the bus a few volts so take a few KW off that.
Fully charged my EGO is 346 volts I think so that x 400 amps = say 136 KW. being drawn from the battery. Now how much is being lost in conversion and other factors is a different story.

TNCreator you will probably need some sort of stabilization as well if the phone does not already have it. At those speeds things are going to be vibrating bumping and jarring around, trying to read small print on a screen when it's jumping all over, unless you freeze frame it .. might be a bit difficult.

I Could not get my old 2018 EsseEsse9 above 74kW, filmed in July '21 (100% SOC, 26°C). Was rated 80kW. I thought I had seen 82kW a few FW versions/years earlier. That dissapointment pissed me off enough to not test my '21 Ribelle RS EMCE. I have easily seen 110 kW though.

Mmh I am consistently getting 125 kW indicated above 95% SoC, going down to about the 107 kW at 85 % SoC and below.

Well, what controller do you have?
I have one with the Cascadia Motion/Rinehart controller.
One of the first 21,5 kWh bikes overall. Or do you might have the Corsa clienti kit?

That's my numbers come from my 2021 non-RS Eva Ribelle with the Cascadia/Rinehart controller. No Corsa clienti.
Interesting..
On a 2021 Ego RS (I believe also with Cascadia/Rinehart controller, not 100 % sure though) I am seeing 120+ kW as well.
But I haven't ridden this bike enough to be able to say anything about different SoC.

2020 Eva Ribelle 21,5kWh
111kW max at 98% SoC.
High 90s up to 30% SoC.
Yesterday on the highway I pushed my '22 Ribelle RS to the max at 35 % SOC and the bike stopped at 56 kW output, regardless of ride mode (Urban or Sport).
Was good for (real) 160 km/h with moderate headwind.
I suppose the power output is limited at this SOC to avoid stressing the battery too much.
